Monthly independent lab tests verify our claims and

Five laboratory categories sit behind the four quick answers above. Open any result for the measured detail, or read the signed report yourself.
The report records 611 pesticide result lines: 560 individual analytes and 51 legal sum definitions. One residue definition had a measured value within its legal limit. These are checks, not 611 different pesticides.
Ochratoxin A and aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 were all too low for the lab to measure. The report also gives a total aflatoxins result below its measurement level.
Lead, arsenic and cadmium were each too low for the lab to measure. Mercury was not tested.
These checks look for mould and yeast organisms, separate from the mould toxins above. Both results were below the level the laboratory could measure reliably: moulds <9 CFU/g and yeasts <9 CFU/g.
One customer-submitted Balance Coffee beans and ground sample was tested. The report does not identify a specific SKU and does not establish a result for every batch.
